ALL TEAMS NEED TO BE PAID BY THE START OF THE FIRST GAME.
REFUND POLICY:
No refunds if team withdraws inside of two weeks from the start date of tournament.
If tournament is shortened or cancelled due to inclement weather, refunds will be issued as follows:
0 Games Started: Entry Fee and prepaid gate minus $75.00 administrative fee.
1 Game Started: 50% of entry fee & 50% gate fee refunded.
2 Games Started: No refunds
GAME PLAY:
Pool play: Games will be 7 innings or time limit. If the game is tied at the end of regulation, it will be declared a tie.
Bracket Play: Games will be 7 inning or time limit. Games that are tied at the end of regulation will use the ITB rule until a winner is declared.
Due to weather, the tournament director reserves the right to shorten games due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
NO DROP DEAD - IF AN INNING IS STARTED, IT IS FINISHED
BATTING:
Roster Batting will be allowed during the ENTIRE tournament. Conversely, all State and USSSA World Series events will be played by the rule book. Regardless of the number of players you have, you will need to announce your line-up format at the pre-game conference with the officials. AND YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO TURN IN A LINE-UP CARD NO MATTER WHAT TYPE OF BATTING LINE-UP YOU ARE USING. Due to IA USSSA allowing roster batting, for teams that choose to roster bat, some additional rules need to be clarified:
INJURY:
Batter: If a batter cannot fulfill her time at bat due to injury or illness, that player will be eliminated from that entire game. Her spot will be skipped in the batting order. Teams will not be required to take an automatic out UNTIL they drop below 9 players.
Runner: If a runner cannot continue her time on the bases, that player will be substituted with the last batter not on base. She will not be allowed to participate in the remainder of the game. The lineup will compress when her spot comes to bat.

Coach and Fan Ejections: (Iowa USSSA)
If you are ejected, you will sit out the rest of that game and the next game. This is mandatory and does not matter what the reason or severity of the ejection.
If you argue and make a scene regarding ejection, you will automatically have to sit out the rest of the weekend.
If you make a scene after being ejected, you face a suspension of multiple weekends. This includes walking away yelling, screaming and using vulgarity towards umpires, tournament directors and or other people at the complex.
If you get ejected the last game of a tournament, you will be suspended the next game of your next tournament. No matter where that game is being played
If you physically touch or hit an umpire, you will be ejected and will face a suspension which could lead to a lifetime ban, going to jail and being sued for abuse.
If an umpire restricts you to the dugout, he is trying not to eject you. If you make a scene or don’t follow the instruction you will be ejected.
Player Ejections:
If a player is ejected, they will sit the rest of that game. Depending on the situation could face further suspension.
